Originally from Fredericton, Dr. Hickey pursued optometry after completing his undergrad at St. Francis Xavier University with a degree in business. He graduated from SUNY College of Optometry in NYC and decided to move back home to join his father’s practice. Growing up surrounded by the importance of eye care, he had a great interest in the profession.
Dr. Hickey also enjoys being involved with sports and spending time with his family, wife and three children. He is always glad to answer any questions and can be reached at drdavid@hickeyoptometry.ca.
Dr. Andrew received a Kinesiology degree at the University of Waterloo and an Education degree at St. Francis Xavier University before completing his optometry degree at Cardiff University. He then moved back to Fredericton after completing his optometry degree to join his brother and father in practice.
Outside of the office, when not spending time with his wife and two daughters, he can be found coaching football, playing hockey or golfing.
